Gothika – Army March Drawn Sword Police (Yogzatot Video 015)
Yogzatot Studio presents video “Army March Drawn Sword Police” for Japanese industrial / “Digital New Wave” band Gothika.
They saw our work for Latvian band “Whore Glamourama” during their performance in Riga in May 2008 and offered us to make a video on “Army March”.
This was one of our most difficult videos, took a lot of time to create conception and collect all the footage we needed.
We wanted to show interconnected and violent history of East Asia in 20th Century so we used footage from Russo-Japanese War, Chinese Civil War, Second Sino-Japanese War, WWII, Korean War, Japanese Student Protest Movements in 60th and Tiananmen Square protests of 1989.

JCRZ – The Bollywood Revenge (Yogzatot Video 014)
In this video we used song “The Bollywood Revenge” from French electro music composer JCRZ.
He found us in YouTube, liked our previous works and offered us to use his music to illustrate one of our videos.
We always wanted to experiment with Bollywood movies, so we choose song “The Bollywood Revenge” (one of JCRZ’s many songs you can download for free on Jamendo) and after viewing of many Bollywood action films we found one that suit ideally for the theme of the song.
“Ghajini” is the latest Bollywood blockbuster, which was released on the 25th of December 2008 and now it is Bollywood’s highest grossing movie of all time. Wonderful love story alternates with brutal quest for revenge.

Agonoize – Eye On You (Yogzatot Bootleg Video 013)
We present our new video project where is addressed cold war theme – view on USSR with the eyes of West.
Angry, hungry Soviet Russia is coming for you, and they are going to eat you all alive and bomb everything that moves! No mercy, no democracy. Big Eye of Stalin and Nomenclatura is watching you, they want you. NKVD is going to talk with you, they have a few questions! Big Brother is watching you, even in your toilet. Nixon, Bush or any other won’t save you because Nikita Khrushchev is totally drunk and he doesn’t give a shit, he is ready to take a ride on a rocket like a cowboy. And wait for Lenin – he is packed into nuclear rocket and ready to explode in a Big Revolutionary Mushroom Cloud.
Actually in this video everyone got kicked in their asses in a final. This time somehow New/Old/Soviet World Orders didn’t impressed our imagination so on a list of concepts of world we would like to live these doesn’t fit into first places.
This video was achieved using mixture of techniques, in additional to linear editing we integrated methods of VJ – video djing by mixing video, applying real-time effects in VJ software and than recording all that chaos and adding to linear video editing. Aspect ratio of video is 4:3 which is different of our previous 16:9 videos. That’s mostly because of added VJ techniques where more preferable is video of 4:3 aspect ratio since these are common dimensions of projector screens while live music events. We also acknowledge that video isn’t in best possible quality – source files weren’t best ones.
Agonoize is a German Aggrotech band constituted of Mike Johnson (composition, programming, production & mastering), Oliver Senger (composition & programming) and Chris L (lyrics & vocals). This video is our first take on industrial music.

Polar Bears Never Cry (Yogzatot Video 012)
Drowning Polar Bears became one of the symbols of climate change, so we decided to find out what really happens with these magnificent creatures and created this video to share with other interested in.
The key danger posed by global warming to Polar Bears is malnutrition or starvation due to habitat loss. Polar bears hunt seals from a platform of sea ice. Rising temperatures cause the sea ice to melt earlier in the year, driving the bears to shore before they have built sufficient fat reserves to survive the period of scarce food in the late summer and early fall. Reduction in sea-ice cover also forces bears to swim longer distances, which further depletes their energy stores and occasionally leads to drowning. Thinner sea ice tends to deform more easily, which appears to make it more difficult for polar bears to access seals. Insufficient nourishment leads to lower reproductive rates in adult females and lower survival rates in cubs and juvenile bears, in addition to poorer body condition in bears of all ages.
Other risks to the polar bear include pollution in the form of toxic contaminants, conflicts with shipping, stresses from recreational polar-bear watching, oil and gas exploration and development, as well “potential risk of over-harvest” through legal and illegal hunting. In this video we decided not to use graphic images of trophy hunters from The Humane Society of the United States but still must inform you that about 500 Polar Bears are killed by American and Canadian hunters every year.
In this video we used footage from BBC documentaries “Blue Planet” and “Polar Bear” (Wildlife Special), as well CBC Doc Zone documentary “Battle For The Arctic”. As audio we used Eric Polaire song “Polar Bear” in remix from Michel Cleis.
