About Yogzatot Studio
Yogzatot Studio is a group of video and animation enthusiasts originally from Riga, Latvia.
Our first bootleg video was created in December 2007. After listening to amazing song “Letter From God” from Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip we decided to try to create our own video version of this song using emotional and symbolic images from different films and documentaries in order to promote message of this song.
After that we started to create another bootleg videos on songs that we like such as Leftside “Stamina Man“, Mark Brown “The Journey Continues“, L.A.O.S. “Panda Style“, Way Out West “Domination” and Vitalic “My Friend Dario“.
Our latest videos released in January 2009 are bootleg videos on Rennie Foster song “Devil’s Water“, our follow-up to “Letter From God” – SebastiAn “Killing In The Name Of” and “Ultraviolence In Riga” about recent riots in our home city Riga.
After that we created two environmental videos – “Last Whale Standing” about whales, whalers and anti-whaling movement and “Polar Bears Never Cry” about Polar Bears and global warming, and another video on Roy Davis Jr. “I Have A Vision“ about children of the planet Earth.
We also working together with musicians – our Latvian band Whore Glamourama, French JCRZ “The Bollywood Revenge” and Japanese industrial band Gothika “Army March“.
In 2010 we focused more on our VJ performances, with industrial DJs at underground parties at clubs Elektra, Bunker, NabaKlab. We created special VJ performance “Bloody Century” which we performed together with DJ Ments at Elektra (03.04.2010).
And at Halloween we performed at NabaKlab with our special horror performance where we first time used our own musical background with the help of Ableton Live. For this performance we created more than 10 special videos, some of which such as Zombie Girl “Creepy Crawler” and “Halloween“, Aural Vampire “Disco King“, Baal “Wreckage“ (also our first experiment with AMV) and Godsmack “Vampires“ we released in our YouTube channel. In 2010 we also created our first music video from self-filmed footage on Dulce Liquido track “Macabre Secrets“, preliminary version of which we also used in our Halloween performance.
In 2011 we concentrated mainly on making official musical videos for our friends – Latvian industrial project Autogen “Bunkergang” and UK industrial metal band Psycho Trigger “Everybody Together”.
Year 2012 started with our video number 26 – bootleg video on UK’s one of the best dubstep producers Nero and their amazing track “Choices“.

some images i had seen before but it was like i was seeing them for the first time again. just presented really well. impressive and very effective! keep it up. x
Just like to say what a fantastic job you made of that “Letter From God” video: very powerful, and very much in tune with the sentiments of the song! (Incidentally “exausted” should be “exhausted” – trust me, I’m an English teacher!) On which subject, is there any possibility of downloading the video? I’d really like to show it to my Year 11 English class, but “You Tube” is blocked by our Local Education Authority, so I can’t just show it on my computer in the classroom…
Congratulations once again: “Lovely job!” as we say here in Radnorshire.
VideoDoc was very impressed and even wrote a review to your work. This project own it’s rights to be seen by as many people as possible since it contains message which could make people to think. VideoDoc wish you luck on further projects!

So, we hope for further contacts and that you will enjoy our next, yet to come videos :)
letter from god tune – awesome! very visual…gave me an idea for how these characters fight, in a sci-fi film idea I’m working on, where these two distinct characters stand and duel…bizarre, but the end bit after “coz i created you”…the rapid drum and synth…cool:)
Hey Yogzatot.
Just wanted to say that I thought the Merk Brown video remix (for the journey) is totally awesome!
I’ve watched it on loop a few dozen times now!
Cheers,
alex.
